What does the 1 year warranty entail?

The SE Lite has 1-year limited warranty for home use, and in South Africa only.

Are SE Lite hair dryers dual voltage?

All Laifen Swift hair dryers are 220V for South Africa, but will also work in other countries which use 220V (Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and parts of South America). Please note that all Laifen hair dryers are not dual voltage. The voltage cannot switch between 110V & 220V, even with an adapter.

What's the difference between each hair dryer?

Laifen SE Lite: Incredible hair drying and styling power, simple, light and fast. Includes one clip on colour-coded Smooth attachment.

Laifen Swift Special: The original Swift, for faster hair drying without heat damage. Includes Swift Ionic technology for healthy, smooth, shiny hair. Includes the full set of 3 attachments (Includes: 1x Smooth Nozzle, 1x Diffuser Nozzle, and 1x Concentrator Nozzle).

Laifen Swift Premium: Identical in performance to the Swift Special, but with premium glam colours Golden Blue, Pink and White. Includes 2 x colour-coded magnetic attachments: Smooth and Diffuser nozzle; and a suede travel bag.

How long will it take to dry my hair with SE Lite?

The time it takes to dry depends on your hair type. For short hair you can fully dry in as little as 2-3 minutes. If you have longer hair (shoulders & down) it typically takes around 5-12 minutes for a complete dry. If you decide to dry your hair using our diffuser attachment it can take a little longer.

How much does SE Lite actually weigh?

Laifen SE Lite on its own weighs less than 1lb (345g to be exact). For reference of how light this dryer really is, it is around the same weight as a paperback book or a small tablet.

How long will my SE Lite dryer last?

With regular use of about 10 minutes every day, your SE Lite will last for up to 9 years. That’s a lot of great hair days!

How to avoid overheating your hair and scalp?

Laifen hair dryers have a maximum temperature of 85°C to ensure your hair and scalp are safe. However, we still recommend that you keep the nozzle of the hair dryer at an appropriate distance from the hair, at a distance of about 15 centimeters. Choose an appropriate temperature and move the hair dryer from side to side while drying.
